Holcim (Romania) launches 3 premiers on the construction materials market

At this year's edition of Construct Expo, Holcim (Romania) meets once again the expectations of its customers with other three premieres: one product and two new services.

With firm and clearly defined steps, Holcim (Romania) becomes a pioneer in the development of the cement market. At this edition of Construct Expo, Holcim meets the expectations of its key partners with three premieres (one product and two services): a new type of cement, a concrete user's guide and an infoline telephone service.

The new type of cement "Holcim Superlucrabil" - addresses to all the users who want a quality cement with a very good workability, to the works that have as main requirements the accuracy of the execution details and the resistance. The product is delivered in bags.

The Concrete User's Guide - addresses to all the small entrepreneurs and to those interested in obtaining durable concrete. The concrete user's guide includes information related to the manufacturing and use of concrete. Also, specific technical terms are defined by using eloquent explanations and images. Besides these, the user's guide contains an "Order rightly the concrete you need!" form.

The User's Guide is free of charge and it is available at the stand, on our website (www.holcim.ro), and at the Holcim concrete plants or upon request.

The innovation does not stop at the premiers we have launched this year; it can also be easily seen from the stand's architecture. Last year you were invited in the "Holcim World"; this year you will go through the "Holcim Experience", which is also the stand's theme. Through an ingenious space organization, the stand offers its visitors lots of information related to the operations of Holcim in Romania and worldwide, to the products and services offered and information related to the mission of the company in terms of social responsibility.

"Our stand from Construct Expo shows, in a stimulating way, all the aspects of our activity and confirms the attractiveness of our company both as an employer, and as business partner", stated Kurt Habersatter.

The specialists of Holcim will present in detail the premieres at the conference center within the stand. The presentations will deal with the white cement applications (8 May, at 11.00), the concrete user's guide (9 May, at 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00) and the new "Holcim Superlucrabil" cement (10 May, at 11.00, 13.00 and 15.00). During the exhibition, Holcim organizes for the visitors a tombola with attractive prizes.

After only two years from the launch of the new brand, Holcim (Romania) has obtained high recognition. It has been awarded with numerous prizes both at the specialized fairs and in the competitions dedicated to the social responsibility (e.g. Corporate Citizen Award); in terms of innovation, Holcim launched the concept of environmental friendly concrete plant and the first cement user's mini-guide.

At present, Holcim (Romania) operates three cement plants in Turda, Campulung and Alesd, 12 concrete plants (out of which 6 are traditional RMC plants, situated in Brasov, Curtea de Arges, Satu Mare, Bucuresti - Bujoreni, Pipera, Progresul areas and 6 environmental friendly concrete plants in Pitesti, Craiova, Cluj-Napoca, Ploiesti, Oradea and Arad) and 3 aggregates plants in Zarnesti, Rancaciov and Brasov; 3 other environmental friendly concrete plants will be commissioned in other strategic towns this year.
