Holcim (Romania) SA moved to Primaverii

Holcim (Romania) SA, the cement, concrete and aggregates producer with Swiss origin, has relocated its headquarter to Eliade Business Center, an office building located at the crossing between Eliade and Primaverii Blvd. The new address is Primaverii 57 Blvd, sector 1, Bucharest. Eliade B.C. is an A class office building being provided with all the standard amenities such as AC system, elevator, IT and telephone infrastructure, suspended ceiling with built-in lightning, wall-to-wall carpeting, prestigious reception area, security system.


Regarding this move, the CEO of Holcim (Romania) SA - Kurt Habersatter - said: " Only two and a half years ago, we started to build up Holcim (Romania) with few persons. In the light of centralized support functions, enlarging our businesses and adding new services we needed more space. The new office building which we occupy all alone offers ideal work conditions and creates a very stimulating environment for our employees and business partners."


Holcim (Romania) owns 3 cement plants in Turda, Campulung and Alesd, 6 concrete plants in Bucharest (Pipera, Bujoreni, Progresul), Pitesti, Curtea de Arges and Brasov and 3 aggregates pits in Zarnesti, Rancaciov and Brasov. The group employees 2000 people.


Last Saturday, Holcim (Romania) SA won at Construct Expo 2002 the Excellency Award for its presence. It won as well a Certificate of Appreciation. By everything Holcim (Romania) SAdid until now proves that is a forward looking organization, an organization which is very dynamic.
