Holcim (Romania) and Corporate Dynamics International will organize, between June 14th and June 18th, training courses dedicated to personal development of 60 high school students in the 11th grade in Alesd, Turda and Campulung. "Build your future" social responsibility project has been initiated and sponsored by Holcim (Romania), and the training courses are held by Corporate Dynamics International experts.
The aim of the training course is to motivate and offer a vision on the future, and also the most appropriate approach for the success of the students in their last years of high school education. The training courses will be interactive and very practical ones, with a lot of exercises and role plays.
"Build your future" is a personal development program who offers students, during five interactive sessions, knowledge on efficient communication and networking, self assessment, career planning, efficient study, safe conduct, CV writing. At the end of the program, each participant will reveal its personal development plan, based on the knowledge acquired within the training courses.
"We have initiated this project in order to offer youngsters - residents of the local communities where the company operates - information which is not comprised in the school curricula, being very important for their future development, though. Usually, after high school, one finds it very difficult to choose a path. The courses we are organizing will help them discover their potential and learn how to use the appropriate tools for their success. We believe this educational partnership is a real support for the future development of the local communities", said Markus Wirth, General Manager Holcim (Romania).
The project is promoted in high schools through posters and presentations. If the number of applicants is larger than the number of participants, the students will have to write an essay and present their future plans, the way they want to achieve their objectives, and the reason of participating at such a training course. Based on the essays, the selection will be made by a Holcim team.
"We are addressing to a generation having an extraordinary potential, still deeply influenced by a society in transition. " Build your future" program is helping high school students to strengthen self esteem and will power regarding their future, while successfully adapting to the realities of the new society. Both by curricula and training methods, we are delivering to our trainees a realistic vision of the future, and we are providing them the instruments of success", opinionated Decebal Leonard Marin, Managing Partner, Corporate Dynamics International.
