Bucharest, 18 May 2015 – Holcim Romania, a leading producer of cement, concrete and aggregates, is the first company in Romania to provide cement users and constructors with a cement type with superior strength class, certified in accordance with BES 6001 – Structo® Plus cement. The product guarantees solid structures, brings value added to the certification of green buildings and offers peace of mind due to the construction of resistant and safe buildings.
Structo® Plus cement is re-launched now in a new package, highlighting the features which ensure its sustainable quality: it is produced in plants with best available techniques, benefits from Holcim’s experience of over 100 years in high quality cement production, has 25% lower carbon emissions per ton of product and is obtained in accordance with the BES 6001 certification. This certification confirms that Holcim applies sustainability principles in the manufacturing of Structo® Plus, acting responsibly from a social and environmental standpoint, from the sourcing of raw materials and management of production processes to the final delivery of the products.

The concept will be rolled out on several communication channels – TV, print, out-of-home and online. The campaign was developed together with the advertising agency McCann Erickson, through the Momentum division. The TV spot was filmed under the guidance of director Matei Alexandru Mocanu.

Structo® Plus is a Portland cement of superior class and final compressive strength of at least 42,5 N/mm2, specifically designed for reinforced concrete structures with superior performances compared to the other products in its consumer category.
