Holcim (Romania) Saves Customer Time by a New Service

Bucharest Dispatch Center (BDC) is a service launched by Holcim Romania to improve the system of taking and delivering the orders. Having four ready-mixed concrete plants (Pipera, Chitila, Progresul and Bujoreni), Holcim Romania offers service of order taking to those customers in Bucharest who want to save precious time when buying concrete. All the customers have to do is send the order via fax to Bucharest Dispatch Center, thus saving the necessary time for identifying which RMC plant is closest to his location.

Once a client's order is taken, BDC operator sends it to the most suitable plant. He will take into account the distance to the customer's construction site, the availability of the requested services (transportation, filling) and other important issues for an efficient delivery. The products are delivered in Bucharest and its surroundings, no more than 25-30 kilometers outside the city.

203.91.17 is the fax number to be dialed by anyone who needs concrete. This service is available 24 hours a day. Besides, the clients can dial a phone number (203.91.16) and speak to BDC operators, 12 hours a day. For emergencies, they can dial 0740.110.517 - a mobile phone especially dedicated for this purpose.

The main advantages offered by Bucharest Dispatch Center are: the support for a better geographical coverage of the concrete orders in Bucharest and its surroundings, the rapidity of taking the orders (via fax or phone), the improvement of the transportation timetable (truckmixers and tip lorries), the quick access to the concrete filling service, the warranty for a faster delivery and a better coordination of the orders.
