A Day For Disadvantaged Children

In 2011, Holcim employees from Campulung organized a family-like picnic with 21 children from the Center for Children in Difficulty from Campulung. The gathering took place in the old clay quarry of Campulung plant, where 11,000 acacia trees were planted over the past few years. In addition to other games and surprises, the children were taught how to behave towards the environment and collect waste selectively.

The event was attended by 20 volunteers, who offered a memorable day out to the children.
